Scalby Fair Charity Walk 2018: report

The 59th Scalby Charity Walk took place on Easter Monday, 2 April 2018, despite the horrible weather and the Scalby Fair team  is delighted to say that it was a great success with 45 entrants in the main Walk and 3 in the shorter version. Congratulations to all the participants and organisers for battling the wet and windy conditions.

We are already looking forward to the 60th anniversary of the Scalby Walk on 22 April 2019.

Winners:

Winner’s Cup – 1st resident lady: Nicky Grunwell
Parker Cup – 1st resident man: Stuart Raw
Castle Cup – fastest resident lady: Nicky Grunwell
Crystal Trophy – fastest resident man: Stuart Raw
Barrie Milner Award – fastest non-resident lady: Caroline Teague
Erskin Cup – fastest non-resident man: Alan Teague
Gladys Wilson Cup – oldest resident lady: Maureen Cullingworth
Rocky Fisher Cup – oldest resident man: Brian Beaver
Peter Walton Cup – first non-resident lady: Caroline Teague
Sam Skilbeck Shield – first non-resident man: Alan Teague

In 2025 Scalby Fair will partner with the charities Newby & Scalby Library, Future Works NY, and Scarborough Mates. Help us help them.

Beer & Whisky Festival – Thu 19 June – Nags Head from 3pm
