A really popular event during Scalby Fair Week is always the Barons 5km Run which you can join in with on Sunday, 16 June 2024.
We would like to thank Baron’s Gym for sponsoring our run once again this year.
There is no charge to be a runner but you can support your favourite charity or make a donation to Scalby Fair, should you wish.
This is a multi-terrain course consisting of 2 x 2.5km laps of the course. . The course map is below and can be viewed or downloaded.
Do you enjoy music and dancing? If the answer is yes, buy tickets for Scalby Fair Ceilidh. This really great event will take place this year in Newby and Scalby Community Hall on Scalby Road on Friday 14th June. This proved very popular last year so book early! Tickets cost £10:00 for over 18s and £5:00 for those under 18.

Scalby Fair Day 2024 is fast approaching and, as usual, we have been working hard to ensure a week of fun and community for all the family. Keep watch on this page for more information about the Fair week – including some exciting new ventures -and also entry forms for events which include a Ceilidh and the Barons Run. Wine Tasting, a Beer Festival and the popular Soul Rida gig will all take place at the Nag’s Head in the middle of Scalby Village. Much more exciting information will be coming up over the next weeks so check the Scalby Fair website regularly.
