Thank you to all participants and volunteers!
Thank you everyone who took part in our Charity Walk on Easter Monday. We hope to have raised well in excess of £1,000 for Future Works, Newby and Scalby Library and Scarborough Mates. Also, and very importantly to us, it was a great community event which left everyone with a huge smile on their face.
Special thanks to everyone who volunteered to marshal the walkers safely ( overcoming the problems of fallen trees on the usual route), those checking people in and out of the pubs and our walk clerks who registered 200 participants. Everybody worked so hard under the leadership of Michael Whitely – who was out in the early morning checking the route was safe and thereafter everywhere he needed to be!
We hope to see everyone again next Easter Monday!
A reminder Scalby Fair Day is Saturday 20 June.
