Don’t Miss a Thing at Scalby Fair
From our Grand Opening Circus Parade at 11:45 until we close at 4pm we present an afternoon of fun, stalls, entertainment and good things to eat, with several exciting new attractions added to our programme. 🎪
At 12:00 on the main stage, Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Nancy 🥁 will be drumming in a wonderful afternoon of fun.
New for this Year.
Yew Court Live 🎶🎶The garden at Yew Court (on the corner of Scalby High Street and Scalby Road) will be open with acts from Kellet’s Performing Arts throughout the afternoon. The Scalby Songbirds and the Korali Ukrainian Choir will also be appearing so listen out for announcements or take a photo of the programme which will be displayed in several different places.
In our Demonstration Garden, situated in the old vicarage, there will be interesting displays of artisans working at a variety of crafts as well as our regular visit from the birds of prey.
The Challenge Arena will have Martial Arts displays with The Rising Sun Martial Arts. There will also be Beat the Goalie, football dribbling skills and classic garden games with Scalby Juniors Football Club.
The Old Favourites.
As usual we are delighted to welcome Magic Mike, the Kevin O’Connor Irish Dancers and Hatton Performing Arts.
As in recent years, a variety of trucks serving hot food, as well as the traditional Scalby Fair BBQ , will provide tasty dishes
