Such has been the success of our Walk we have made some changes this year to accommodate more walkers that we hope are going to make the walk prove more enjoyable. We now have 2 start times 10am and then 10.30am to 11am to reduce congestion at the pubs. The 10am start time is for anyone who considers themselves a competitive walker and anyone who wants to set off with them. We have cups for the fastest Scarborough resident male and female and the fastest non resident male and female. We also have cups for the oldest male and female resident walkers. We have prizes for the fastest dog and the fastest male and female juniors.
For those that are not the fastest outright we also have handicap cups based on past performance and age as you can see in the table below: –

Last year our fastest male resident finished in 69 minutes and the fastest females in 75 minutes
Those that set off at 10am can still win Fancy Dress prizes but will miss the new fancy dress parade at 10.15am. The presentation is at 2.30pm in the Plough.
